About this apartment

The Balcony Apartment is a fully renovated three-bedroom apartment in Getsemaní, the neighbourhood beside Cartagena's walled Old City. It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms, air conditioning in every room and hot water.

The living room is the centre of it: a brick feature wall, a long sofa, a dining table and tall doors that open onto a balcony over the street. From there you look across terracotta rooftops, which makes it a good spot for the first coffee of the day. The open kitchen has a gas hob, oven, fridge and coffee maker, and there is a washer and dryer in the apartment.

It suits families and groups of friends who want to walk everywhere. Shops, bars and restaurants are close by, so most days you will not need a taxi. Arrival is by self check-in with a smart lock, any time between 3 pm and 2 am.

Getsemaní sits right beside Cartagena's walled Old City, a short walk from the Clock Tower gate. It began as a working neighbourhood and is now known for its street art, small plazas and the number of places to eat and drink. Plaza de la Trinidad, in front of the church of the same name, is where the neighbourhood gathers in the evening.
