About this apartment

The Mural Apartment takes its name from the wall-sized mural in the living room. It is a modern, fully renovated three-bedroom apartment in Getsemaní, close to the shops, bars and restaurants of the neighbourhood but set back from the street noise.

It sleeps six. Each of the three bedrooms has its own private bathroom with hot water, which makes it comfortable for a group of friends or two families travelling together. Every room has air conditioning. The living room gets plenty of natural light and opens onto a private balcony with a courtyard view.

The Wi-Fi is fast (476 Mbps as measured on Airbnb) and there is a dedicated workspace, so it also works for remote work. The kitchen has a gas hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, and there is a washing machine in the apartment. Arrival is by self check-in with a smart lock, between 3 pm and 2 am.

The neighbourhood: Getsemaní

Getsemaní sits right beside Cartagena's walled Old City, a short walk from the Clock Tower gate. It began as a working neighbourhood and is now known for its street art, small plazas and the number of places to eat and drink. Plaza de la Trinidad, in front of the church of the same name, is where the neighbourhood gathers in the evening.
