Privacy policy
Updated
Inside Cartagena respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
Inside Cartagena operates this website. For any question about your data, write to insidecartagena@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Messages you send us. When you use a contact form we store your name, email address, optional phone number, optional travel dates and your message, so we can answer you. We keep these messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and delete them on request.
- Guest accounts. If you stay with us, we create a login for the private guest area using your name and email address. Your password is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
- Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited and the type of device. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share data with
Only with service providers that help us run the site: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider and, if you consent, Google Analytics. Bookings are made on Airbnb and are covered by Airbnb's own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by writing to insidecartagena@gmail.com. If you are in the European Union you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
